Now accepting feral cats, by appointment only. Please take the time to read the following information to schedule your appointment.

Trap Neuter Return

Trap-Neuter-Return is the process of humanely trapping and sterilizing feral or stray cats in order to stop their breeding cycle. TNR has been shown to be the least costly and the most humane, efficient way of stabilizing community cat populations. TNR helps stabilize the population of community colonies and, over time, reduces them. Nuisance behaviors such as spraying, excessive noisemaking, and fighting are largely eliminated and no additional kittens are born.

The Barbara Grice Memorial Spay and Neuter Clinic offers a $50 feral cat package that includes spay or neuter surgery, a rabies vaccine, and an ear tip.

Feral cats in a live animal trap can be seen by appointment only.

To schedule an appointment please contact Cindra Anderson at (850) 501 - 1531. Please contact her via text at this number if you would like to schedule an appointment. Space is limited.

It is strongly encouraged that you attend Cindra's free TNR class prior to your appointment. Classes are held here in our clinic lobby every Sunday, except major holidays, at 2:00pm.

Feral cats are seen by appointment only.  Feral cats coming in without an appointment will NOT be seen.

All feral cat spays or neuters are scheduled promptly for 8:30am the day of their appointment.  The $25 "no show" fee does not apply to feral cat appointments, however, if you do not arrive promptly at 8:30am you do run the risk of losing your appointment and  having to reschedule. Please make every effort to be on time.

Feral cats are discharged at 5:00pm with domestic felines. No animals are discharged prior to their designated pick up time. Please schedule your day accoridingly. At this time a verbal post-operative announcement is given to explain how to care for your animal during their recovery period.

Feral cats are required to be in a secure live animal trap.  Feral, skittish, or unsocialized cats arriving in carriers will not be accepted and will be immedietly sent home. If you need a trap please read the information below about renting traps from our clinic.

Please do not leave personal sheets or towels with your feral cat. Trap covers are available for use during their stay at our clinic. Trapped cats must be covered at all times from transporting, to our lobby, to the surgical area. Be sure to take all your personal belongings with you.  Staff are not responsible for any personal belongings left with feral cats.

We rent traps PRIOR to your feral cat's appointment date so that you may obtain your animal in a safe manner and transport it safely in the trap to our clinic. We do not keep traps for use for the day of your animal's appointment so please plan ahead to avoid being sent home and having to reschedule your feral cat.

Trap rental consists of a $65 deposit per trap rental.  $55 per rental is refunded, once the trap is returned, in good, clean, working condition. Additional charges apply for late returns. The remiaing $10 is applied to our Spay-It-Foward fund to further help reduce the population of unwanted puppies and kittens. We thank you for your contributation.

Click HERE to download and print the Cat Trap Rental Agreement form. Please be sure to read all the information carefully.

A limited number of traps are available.  Please call 850-898-3380 for more information.
